November 16, 2024Now that the Thanks has been given and the turkey’s been eaten (most of it, anyway), we’re on to the next part of hyping up the Christmas spirit in the Smokies: the theater entertainment sector of the Tennessee Smokies will be switching their shows for the Christmas music and faire you and the fam were looking for.
Below are the Christmas shows going on now and scheduled to go on soon. Let’s take a look!
* Dollywood Christmas in the Smokies

* Country Tonite Christmas
Now – December 31st

“The magic of Christmas abounds as the talented renditions of Christmas favorites combined with beautiful choreography, brightly decorated holiday sets and colorful costumes bring the enchantment of Christmas to the Country Tonite stage.
The popular cast covers a number of holiday classics for a nostalgic, spirited holiday celebration that will be enjoyed by all ages. You’ll also find a few special guest performers during the Christmas production that you certainly won’t see any other time of the year, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus, and everyone’s favorite ballerina in the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Toys will also come alive in the magical song “Where are you Christmas.”

* Christmas In The Village
Each Wednesday And Thursday in December Until The 21st

“Guests can celebrate the holiday season with family at the Heritage Center’s Christmas in the Village by stepping back in time to a pioneer celebration. Living history interpreters will act as guides through the holiday-adorned historic Appalachian village full of handcrafting demonstrations allowing visitors to connect with the spirit and history of Townsend, Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. Kettle corn and hot cider will also be available for guests to enjoy. Experience Smoky Mountain traditions and demonstrations while enjoying warm refreshments.
