November 2nd is the date to save for the Townsend Grains & Grits Festival and the venue will be the Townsend Visitors Center on the main Townsend road. The event goes from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. At 5:00PM, parking opens up with the gates opening up at 6:00PM. From 7:00PM to 8:30PM, the live music performances will play and the event ends at 9:00PM.
